The Bell Residential Services team is in the business of enabling customers to connect with people, information and entertainment by delivering integrated products and service experience for consumers while enhancing our competitiveness in the marketplace.  The team provides customers with Bell Home phone, local and long distance services, Bell Internet, Bell Satellite TV and amazing new technologies such as Bell Fibe TV.

 

Position Description:

The successful candidate will report to the Senior Manager – Acquisition Marketing, Fibe TV, and will provide critical analytics support to the Acquisition marketing team. We are looking for someone who has a very strong analytical background and is comfortable working with numbers/reports to draw insight and recommendations.  This person will  provide key insights and reporting for  Direct Tactic campaigns, and will also play a critical role in shaping and developing future reporting initiatives for a broad scope of marketing programs.

 

Job Duties/Accountabilities:

  • Maintain/circulate existing reports and develop new reports based on changing business requirements.
  • Create compelling and insightful decks for post mortems and ad-hoc analytics, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings to written text.
  • Actively contribute to the overall marketing planning cycle
  • Develop & validate queries and report templates to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Be able to proactively identify and flag issues, trends, and anomalies
  • Analyze marketing metrics to identify cause and effect relationships.

 

Critical Qualifications/Competencies: 

  • University degree in Business Administration or similar
  • 2-3 years experience in analyst role with similar scope
  • Proven ability to quantify and analyze customer data and provide meaningful insights along with recommendations.
  • Well versed in performing elaborate marketing analyses while having strong business acumen
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong sense of autonomy and initiative
  • Advanced MS Office skills, particularly MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Flexible and able to comfortably operate in an ever-evolving & changing market environment

 

Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Knowledge of players in the telecommunications competitive landscape
  • Previous experience with marketing strategy and communications
  • Comfortable in working in a virtual team environment
