The Bell Residential Services team is in the business of enabling customers to connect with people, information and entertainment by delivering integrated products and service experience for consumers while enhancing our competitiveness in the marketplace. The team provides customers with Bell Home phone, local and long distance services, Bell Internet, Bell Satellite TV and amazing new technologies such as Bell Fibe TV.
This is a great opportunity for professionals interested in working on the Marketing Communications team. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Marketing Communications.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing and new TV community TV content and making recommendations on its strategy as necessary. You will also be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining various marketing communications strategies through a variety channels, such as online, print and digital to promote the TV programming. The ideal candidate understands the importance of consistent communication and brand image. The responsibilities of the role will also expand beyond Marketing Communications into understanding a variety of technical processes, data analysis and other areas as required.
This is a varied role, and as part of a small team in a large company, working in a deadline-driven environment. In order to accomplish all this you are organized and efficient. You also have the ability to work well independently as well as take initiative to build relationships with various internal teams such as Marketing, Product Development, Programming and various partners, such as Bell Media.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Manage new and existing TV content, as well as review and make recommendations
- Develop and Execute Marketing and Communications Plans related to print, radio, TV, web and social media.
- Development of various communication templates
- Ensure message consistency across communication platforms
- Collect and analysis data, identify trends and make recommendations
- Work with external partners and cross functional teams as required to execute on a variety of other tactics as required
- Ensure accordance with brand standards and guidelines
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
- Strong communication skills, written and presentation
- Bilingual (French & English) is required
- Ability to manage, prioritize and organize multiple tasks and projects
- Deadline driven, get it done attitude
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to build partnerships with internal and external teams and partners
- Understanding or experience in broadcasting
- Good judgement and the ability to work in a changing environment
- Experienced computer skills, Power Point, Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
