Corporate Groups offers best practice services to support the organization, including Finance, Legal & Regulatory, Brand, Corporate Services – including HR, Communications, Real Estate, Security and Procurement & Value Creation.
Responsibilities:
•Operating news gathering equipment alone or with a Reporter
•Assisting in the preparation of newscasts
•Shooting interviews, performances and other content as required
•Gathering facts and information while on location
•Editing Reporter packages, voice overs, vo-sots for daily newscasts quickly and accurately in house or field
•When required, recording satellite and microwave feeds, preparing dubs and helping maintain news library
•Maintaining inventory of all assigned equipment and responsible for its upkeep including reporting technical issues to Engineering
•Other duties as required
Qualifications:
•College level television diploma or equivalent education
•3 years of experience with the operation of ENG Camera equipment
•Proven field experience with lighting for television
•General knowledge of local and national news stories and issues
•Familiarity with editing equipment and iNEWS
•Excellent concentration and co-ordination skills
•Ability to deal with new and developing technology
•Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
•Must have a valid driver’s license and clear driving record
Bilingualism is an asset (English & French)
