Description:

The Accounts Payable team is part of the BCE Corporate Controller's team and is responsible for the Accounts Payable functions for BCE, Bell Canada and all its subsidiaries. The team is required to provide accurate timely financial information to senior management on a monthly and quarterly basis.

The Accounts Payable team is currently seeking a Manager who will report to the Senior Manager of Accounts Payable.

 

Job Duties / Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for supporting  activities related to Accounts Payable;
  • Responsible for answering calls & emails from suppliers and employees;
  • Responsible for reconciliations of accounts as required;
  • Responsible to perform other A/P related duties.
  • Supervision of non management staff

 

Preferred Qualifications / Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Accounting title CPA (CA, CGA or CMA)
  • Knowledge of the Accounts Payable function;
  • At least five years of experience leading a team of non-management employees
  • Be bilingual (French and English);
  • Knowledge of SAP;
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and people management skills
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment;
  • Fast learning of procedures and processes;
  • Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook;
  • Good organizational skills
