Position: Morning Show Co-Host – 99.9 Sun FM
Location: Kelowna, British Columbia

Once again, another one leaves our nest for the bright lights of a Major Market morning show.
This is the rarest of opportunities to come along in a long time…the morning show at the #1 CHR station in Kelowna, British Columbia. 99.9 Sun FM is looking for the next star to team with our “funny, opinionated, awesome bossy pants” co-host.
Personality radio, that’s what we want, need and expect. That’s what we deliver every day.
Here’s a fact: Sun FM in Kelowna continues to produce on-air personalities that now perform on major market stations across the country in key shifts every day. We’re successful…and we breed successful personalities.

Responsibilities:
- Regular on-air mornings shift
- Preparing, planning, and executing your show including researching and conducting interviews.
- Above average Social Media skills on Facebook and Twitter
- Must LOVE Remote broadcasts and station appearances.
- Voice tracks when required.
Skill Requirements
- Must be extremely motivated and a self-starter.
- The ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Strong communication, writing and creativity.
- Ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines.
- Have genuine interest in current events of the communities that we broadcast to.
- The ideal candidate will have post-secondary education in broadcasting, or related experience.
- At least 3 years on-air experience (outside of school).
- Knowledge of Maestro and Operation of broadcast console definitely an asset.
- A valid class 5 BC driver’s license (or equivalent).
- Strong references.
