The Bell Mobility team offers a full range of wireless products and services for residential and business customers, including the largest selection of superphones on the fastest and most advanced network technology.
The Medium Pricing Specialist is responsible for providing operational and financial guidance in the evaluation of all sales proposals within the Medium business segment to increase the value of our shareholders’ investment through pricing actions and to provide all business users with wireless solutions to effectively run their business by understanding the needs of our external and internal customers.
Job Duties/Accountabilities:
- The successful candidate will strive to achieve operational excellence by committing to:
- Providing quantitative and qualitative analysis of sales proposals and communicating pricing recommendations to all levels including the Director and on occasion VP level.
- Evaluate sales requests and determine impact on the business through Key Performance Indicators.
- Perform various analyses to measure achieved Key Performance Indicators.
- Assist with recommendations on developing existing processes to generate efficiencies and improvements.
- Managing relationships with sales channels.
- Provide and articulate a clear understanding of the Medium segment in Canada.
- Assisting with ad hoc requests from leadership.
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
- A University or College education in a business related discipline and/or equivalent experience.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong understanding of Bell Mobility business segments and products.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Innovative in creating customized business solutions.
- Superior time management skills and an ability to meet tight deadlines.
Essential Skills/Competencies:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Experience in telecommunications and wireless
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to balance multiple objectives
- Ability to provide holistic approach to decision making
- Must be comfortable working as part of a team with the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously
- Able to communicate strategies, plans and results effectively at all levels of the organization
- Ability to quickly foster relationships with other departments within the organization
- Confident, self-assured and outspoken
- Ability to complete and reprioritize unexpected ad hoc projects and requests
