Location: CTV Saskatoon
Salary: Group 3, Unifor, Local 2013M. Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Hours of Work: Up to 40 hours per week. Overtime as required.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for ENG Camera operation – photography, NLE editing (Sony Vegas), as well as Studio camera operations within live and taped newscasts and segments
• Editing of stories and segments for air
• Script writing and iNews experience considered an asset
• Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• 2 year broadcasting diploma or equivalent camera operator experience
• Working knowledge of Non-linear editing software
• Experience working in a studio for live newscasts
• Video Journalist experience considered an asset
• Physical ability to continually lift, stand, walk, or run with approx. 50lbs
• Excellent organizational, time management, communication and interpersonal skills, including superior judgment. Ability to adhere to tight deadlines is critical
