Job Duties/Accountabilities:
As a member of the Wireless Network Finance team, this position will be responsible for the following:
- Manage reporting and performance of financials and key operational drivers of the Wireless Technology team. This includes working closely with Directors, Managers and their teams to understand and analyze financials and report on KPIs.
- Manage forecasting responsibilities for the Wireless Technology group including MEE, YEE, Budgets and LRP. This involve working with the directors, managers and their teams to develop financial forecasts using applicable business drivers; understanding and assessing risks and opportunity of the forecasts
- Monitor and report on labour hours and rates charged to capital and opex projects
- Effectively communicate results and forecasts to the team and incorporate feedback where applicable
- Creation and monitoring of SHRED projects to maximize Wireless Technology tax credits
- Conduct special analysis and deep dives as required
- Identify and action cost savings opportunities including capitalization opportunities where applicable
In addition, this position also includes supporting the Wireless Network Finance team with:
- Extended Warranty Plan forecasting and performance
- Network rent, hydro, and tax expense reconciliation, and analysis of results and forecasts
- Special projects and deep dive in other areas as required
- Consolidation and presentation support of overall Wireless Network performance and outlooks
Skills and Experience:
- Financial designation
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Experience in data analysis
- SAP and BI experience
