Position: Production Coordinator, Canada AM – 1 year contract
Location: Agincourt
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week. Overtime as required
Responsibilities:
• Organize video elements for produced television segments
• Transfer video elements from CTV National News to Canada AM
• Proof read pre-produced information packs for each show segment
• Co-ordinate transportation for guests
• Ability to react quickly to breaking news
• Monitor not only news of the day but issues and trends
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Minimum of one year experience in producing television segments
• Experience in video editing
• Ability to enhance interviews using production elements – video and font
• Excellent knowledge of news and current affairs
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Ability to work closely with editors and producers
• Ability to both work well in a team and be self-motivated
• Computer processing skills
