Name and description of the hiring department:
The Access Quebec team sees in the deployment of the outside network by means of plans of work and estimate of engineering, to serve our customers with high technologies.
Job duties/Accountabilities:
- Conceive, plan, develop and implement network solutions for the new, and the existing, technological infrastructures and platforms.
- Analyze, evaluate, plan and do the provisioning of network elements for the new, and the existing, technologies.
- Establish, analyze and evaluate all the financial and expenses components, justify with precision the allocation and ensure conformity.
- Manage the deployment of physical and logical components as well as producing various documents to ensure its evolution.
- Support various partners.
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
- French (read, spoken, written) fluent in the language with no significant limitation.
- English ( read, spoken, written) working ability to carry out normal business in the language.
- MS Word basic.
- MS Excel intermediate.
- Ability to translate an idea into a technical model and optimize the choice of materials and components .
- Ability to research and identification of customer needs and being able to translate them into required engineering, innovative and creative way , respecting the rules of the company.
- Project management technical skills.
- Ability to produce technical drawings .
- Being able to track project costs and explain the differences.
- Strong analytical and planning skills.
- Self-starter, flexible and responsible.
Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:
- Knowledge of access network.
- >Knowledge of electronic equipments./>
- Knowledge of numerical services.
- Knowledge of numerical and analogical transmission.
- Knowledge of the following corporate systems: NetworkX (consultation), WEB NRVS, APT, Cramer, SAP, IPAIRE, OPARS, SAS, Tias.
- Knowledge of a computer assisted drawing system (Visio).
