Position: Marketing Specialist
Location: 50 Eglinton Avenue East, Toronto ON
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week. Overtime as required.
Responsibilities:
- Support content and social media strategy for B2B marketing. This includes listening, posting & responding to clients and media influencers.
- Responsible for monitoring competitor’s presence on social media channels and providing reports as required.
- Thorough understanding of social media metrics and reporting is an asset.
- Source creative assets for social media channels.
- Manage day-to-day of bellmediasales.ca – source, update content, and manage quality control with suppliers.
- Source merchandise, negotiate with suppliers, fulfill internal request, and manage inventory.
- Manage the creative process for Treat of the Week program.
- Gather content for and issue monthly eNewsletters and eBlasts as required.
- Support event logistics.
- Support department with general admin duties including, budget management, calendar updates and data base management.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years’ experience in media, advertising, web design, and/or social media preferred.
- Creative and strategic thinker
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Superb organizational and computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Photoshop, InDesign, and CMS experience an asset.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Knowledge of digital advertising platforms and social media platforms
- University/post-secondary education required, with emphasis on Marketing/Promotions preferred
