Bell Business Markets provides a vast array of communications solutions for small, medium, and large organizations. These include managed data and network solutions, cloud computing, conferencing, Web, security solutions and integrated information and communications technology (ICT) services.
The incumbent will support strategic pricing for BBM Enterprise and Mid Market clients. This individual will possess the analytical, communication, and leadership skills to drive executive-level pricing decisions that support our business objectives and articulate them to the market. The incumbent will have a strong business acumen, as well as the curiosity to uncover additional revenue, unit and profitability growth opportunities.
Job Function:
- Develop and maintain pricing principles, guidelines and strategies
- Build business cases to support pricing decisions and scorecards to track them
- Work with Sales on solicited and unsolicited opportunities
- Provide Sales with official Pricing Approvals, Terms and Conditions
- Draw out insights based on performance, market, competitive and customer data
- Make recommendations, including to VP and SVP decision makers
- Find ways to improve pricing processes/procedures
Accountabilities:
- Hit “average revenue per unit” (ARPU), unit, revenue and profitability targets
- Determine the appropriate custom pricing for a given deal
- Track deal and competitive intelligence
- Meet deal pricing “SLAs”
- Find additional areas of opportunity and seize / implement them
Skills and Competencies:
- Very strong analytical skills and knowledge of Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to synthesize large amounts of knowledge. Strong in PowerPoint and Word
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, ability to influence Sales and Management.
- Strategic thinking and creative problem solving skills
- Knowledge of BBM Connectivity, Professional Services and Infrastructure Services a strong plus
Level of experience required:
- 5+ years business experience
- Comfortable driving executive-level decisions at a fast pace
Education Requirements:
- Education – Preferred Bachelors in Finance, Accounting, Marketing or Engineering from an accredited university
- Graduate education and membership to industry or professional associations a plus
