The Bell Mobility team offers a full range of wireless products and services for residential and business customers, including the largest selection of superphones on the fastest and most advanced network technology.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Sales Operations, the CRM Database Analyst is responsible for maintaining the integrity and quality of data in Bell Mobility’s CRM system, Salesforce.com. Salesforce.com plays an integral role in the B2B sales environment and is currently used by Sales, Marketing & Client care teams to track prospect and customer activities, including sales funnel, forecasting and a variety of other business processes.
This unique opportunity will allow an individual to have full accountability of all data related Salesforce initiatives, including but not limited to preparing data imports, managing recurring and adhoc data loads, overseeing governance of data standardization and reporting & dashboard maintenance to support our best in class CRM implementation
Job Duties/Accountabilities:
- Responsible for understanding the data structure and data content within Salesforce.com for extraction, analysis, and compilation.
- Regularly assess the data and cleanse as necessary
- Regularly monitor and merge duplicate leads, accounts & contacts.
- Manage data clean-up and handle mass updates of data as required
- Locate and fix improperly formatted data using data quality tools such as DemandTools.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity
- Extract information and other records within system for reporting purposes.
- Establish data processes according to best practice
- Regularly update sales territories and mappings within Salesforce.com as required
- Work with Sales/Marketing teams to regularly update Customer Account and Contact data within Salesforce.com
- Provide complete analytical support including pulling data, organizing analyses and interpreting data.
- Work with Marketing teams to support ongoing Campaign management and execution
Education and Critical requirements:
- University/College degree (Business, Computer Science) or equivalent work experience
- Proficient in data manipulation & tools (SQL, Access and Excel)
- Managing large volumes of data in a CRM (preferably Salesforce.com)
- A strong focus on attention to detail to produce high quality, accurate and timely deliverables to meet deadlines
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to be highly creative in formulating solutions
Preferred qualifications
- An understanding of the wireless industry is preferred, but not mandatory
- Be comfortable adapting to a constantly changing environment
- Bilingual (English and French) an asset
- 2+ years prior experience supporting a CRM or Salesforce.com application
- Working knowledge of SQL, Agile, ETL and data modeling
- Experience using Salesforce tools such as Salesforce Data loader, Demand Tools
