To support its growth, Bell Media is looking for a web/application designer for its activities relating Bell Media Quebec digital properties and radio stations nationwide. He (she) is responsible for ensuring the quality of the brand experience at the heart of business needs. The concern of respect for established graphic standards, or create new templates for exclusively digital properties remain the foundation of job responsibilities.
Reporting to the Creative Director and User Experience, the web/application designer works closely with the product teams, content and the development teams. The function requires to integrate and apply the Agile development methodologies in all creative research approaches: analysis, prototyping interfaces in wireless mode iron visual layout.
The creative exercise is part of a user-centered design approach for modeling the user experience into an implementation of innovative and effective experiences where emotion and design take a major proportion.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate in the needs analysis and reflection related to Web graphics development projects and mobile application
- Listen, analyze and understand the challenges customers and business partners
- Definition of Web templates/mobile brands of French-language Bell Media properties
- Monitor compliance and graphic charts in projects
- Monitor compliance and graphic charters in daily maintenance and content creation
- Work with the ux specialist and interface developers to ensure optimum development of user interfaces
- To ensure consistency and usability of each website according to standards and user-centered experience
- To present its innovative solutions to the team and to clients in a clear and concise manner
- Strong interest in branding
- User-Centered design experience
- Research and creative development in the digital world
- Create cross-platform design (web, mobile application)
- Experience in software design
- Facilitate collaboration with the interface development team to ensure optimum development of interfaces and respect of design
- Creation of site responsive fashion - Mobile first
- Attention to SEO
Skills required:
- Team Player of excellence, driven by intra and inter disciplinary and peer feedback
- Minimum 6 years experience in designing digital graphics interfaces
- Creativity, versatility, organizational skills and attention to detail
- User-Centered Design Experience
- Analytical skills, ability to offer multiple solutions
- Strong analytical and conceptualization
- Notions (SEO) and accessibility
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to work within tight deadlines
- Good knowledge of web and application production process
- Good communication skills in English and French
Education:
- University degree in graphic design or a related discipline
- Less education combined with relevant experience will be considered
- Experience in the media industry an asset
Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
