Corporate Groups offers best practice services to support the organization, including Finance, Legal & Regulatory, Brand, Corporate Services – including HR, Communications, Real Estate, Security and Procurement & Value Creation.
As part of a team, assist in the planning of organization-wide real estate needs, and ensure cost effective delivery of assets to meet those needs. Assist in the process and documentation of the purchase or construction of facilities and/or support negotiations of facility leases in order to optimize return on assets. Help create and implement strategic plans with reference to site locations and availability. Document standards for the protection, security and maintenance of company properties.
Job Duties/Accountabilities:
- Creation of scenarios for development, redevelopment and refinement of various alternatives, scenarios and planning
- Prepare reports and presentations, as necessary, to succinctly summarize plans and projects, for decision-making by senior executives
- Prepare standardized financial analysis and presentation for Capital committees
- Provide regular reporting to planning and Business Units
- Help confirm business unit strategies and impact on real estate accommodation
Critical Competencies/Qualifications:
- Exposure to real estate asset planning in either Corporate or Landlord environment
- Aspiring to complete a degree in Urban Planning, Urban Geography, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Finance(and /or other Real Estate related education) MBA, CMA , PMP designations
- Exposure to the Canadian real estate market
- Economic cost benefit evaluations and analysis
- Highly proficient computer skills with specific expertise of MS Office
- Excellent analytical skills (financial, organizational and general business)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; has to prepare studies and perform presentations
