In this role, you will:
- Work closely with the VP, English Radio Programming and Program Directors across the country to develop programming strategy and manage deployment of plans.
- Planning and contributing to strategic research
- Develop platforms to maximize idea sharing and resources for Program Directors across Bell Media Radio.
- Provide Bell Media radio stations support through music/clock architecture, station monitors and managing vendor relationships
- Work closely with the VP, English Radio Programming to coordinate all programming research studies and talent development workshops
- Work closely with the VP, English Radio Programming in developing and executing brand building initiatives with the music industry and digital media publishers
Qualifications:
- Must have exceptional music programming skills- a keen understanding of all music formats and the science behind clocks, rotations and library architecture
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Program Director in a major market
- Strong organizational skills
- Great relationships within the music industry
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong knowledge of both traditional and digital media and trends
