Position: ENG Technician - CTV News Washington Bureau (1 Year Contract) Local Hire
Location: CTV News Washington Bureau
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Hours of Work: Variable shifts
Responsibilities:
• Field camera, sound and lighting work
• Field/Bureau editing and feeding
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Familiarity with all aspects of electronic news gathering/production/editing
• Excellent shooting skills and strong Avid edit skills
• Familiarity with all aspects of field video, audio and lighting
• Ability to work and/or travel on short notice for breaking news and work and stay in difficult and hostile circumstances
• Strong interest in current events and story presentation
• Ability to manage technical requirements of the bureau
• Independent self starter
