Corporate Groups offers best practice services to support the organization, including Finance, Legal & Regulatory, Brand, Corporate Services – including HR, Communications, Real Estate, Security and Procurement & Value Creation.
Job Duties/Accountabilities:
- Plan membership data analysis and preparation
- Pension committees’ presentations
- Collaboration with the external administrator to address day-to-day issues
- Various tasks related to pension plan accounting
- Mandates related to asset liability management
- Special projects (e.g. pension plan mergers, acquisitions)
The successful candidate should demonstrate the following:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Interest in acquiring Defined Contributions Pension Plan expertise
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-pace and ambiguous environment with the ability to prioritize tasks and information effectively
- To work and make decisions independently
- High level of initiative, displaying the ability to recognize and anticipate what needs to be done
- Be flexible and able to work with changing parameters
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with cross-functional project teams & colleagues
- Strong team orientation
- Effective organizational skills
- Ability to analyze results and provide recommendations
- Strong sense of urgency; results and action oriented to deliver
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
- University degree in mathematics
- Minimum of 3 to 6 years of related experience
- Willingness to specialize in Pension
- Solid analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Team spirit
- High degree of proficiency in MS office applications (Excel, Access & Powerpoint)
Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:
- Global knowledge of pension
- Bilingual (written and spoken)
