Responsibilities:
* Create and produce programs and features in English and French for the Bell Local Television on Fibe TV;
* Oversee the recruitment and training of volunteers to assist in the creation of programs;
* Supervise camera operators, editors and volunteers;
* Train community members to act as hosts, producers and other production roles;
* Develop links with community groups and individual around the Montreal area;
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* At least 5 years experience in program or documentary production;
* Knowledge of TV production techniques including planning, crewing and editing both in the field and in studio;
* Ability to motivate staff and ensure high production values;
* Superior planning and problem solving skills;
* Excellent organizational and communication skills;
* Experience directing or producing live TV is an asset;
* Experience in dealing with volunteers and non-profit organizations is an asset;
* Fluently bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written and successfully pass a proficiency test;
* Must possess a valid driver`s licence.
