Job Title: Associate Municipal Operations Center
Job Location: 100 Borough Drive, Scarborough, ON
Job Status: Temporary Part Time (Project duration: 24 months)

Network Provisioning is leading the delivery of major strategic programs by implementing a rigorous end to end project management approach. This team has the mandate to co-ordinate the deployment of major and strategic projects in the Operations.
The Municipal Operations Center is within the Municipal Relations district. The team is accountable to interface with the municipalities and utilities about their processes for permits, they act as the point of contact within Bell to address Municipal / Utility concerns. The group is accountable to track the progression of utility signoff and Municipal approval to secure permission for Bell to use the Municipal right of way.
Job Duties / Accountabilities:
The successful candidate will be expected to do the following:
- Interface with external utilities and Municipalities on behalf of Bell.
- Analyze requests, ensure quality by identifying discrepancies on workplans or attached package in order to ensure a quality submission to utility and City.
- Set-up critical path schedule, follow-up and co-ordinate with internal and external stakeholder to meet critical dates.
- Create, update and maintain internal/external network records and ensure the integrity of various databases.
- Draw and prepare Municipal packages and submit Municipalities according to their requirements.
- Analyze and run various reports to determine accuracy of information
Essential Requirements / Competencies:
- MS Excel Intermediate – spreadsheets, pivot tables
- MS Word Intermediate – letters
- Self motivated individual with excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Strong team focus and ability to work well with immediate and extended team
- Able to manage a variety of tasks simultaneously and adjust priorities
- Able to coordinate and negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Able to take direction and work independently as needed
- Effective communicator, both verbally and written
- Works well under pressure and can carry many projects simultaneously meeting deadlines
- Must be technically adaptable to understanding leading edge technologies and flexible to manage changing priorities
Preferred Requirements / Competencies:
- Knowledge of SAP P50
- Knowledge of outside plant - plans and Bell equipment
