The Bell Mobility team offers a full range of wireless products and services for residential and business customers, including the largest selection of superphones on the fastest and most advanced network technology.
This is a One Year Contract Position.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Merchandising Audit and Compliance, the Merchandising Auditor will visit each of the Bell stores within Alberta province at least once per quarter. As part of a program to provide outstanding client experience in our Bell stores, he/she will work in conjunction with the channel to identify performance gaps and provide ongoing coaching and support to continuously improve merchandising execution at store level. He/she will ensure that any non-compliance issues are escalated when necessary and are resolved in a timely fashion. In addition, he/she will support the stores with implementation of any new merchandising initiatives as required.
Job Duties/Accountabilities:
- Perform quarterly merchandising compliance visits for all Bell branded locations within Alberta province
- Perform an entire store walkthrough to assess store compliance with our online visual merchandising system (VMS) (approximately 90 minutes)
- Provide training on the use of VMS when necessary
- Provide constructive coaching and training to Bell store employees on low-scoring areas of the checklist
- Assist with the set up of new Bell branded store openings and retrofits
- Assist with merchandising hotline and ticket resolution as required
- Must be able to travel across the Alberta region on a quarterly basis
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
- College diploma
- Minimum 2 years working in a retail environment
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Demonstrates discretion and attention to detail and ability to problem solve
- Focused and results-oriented
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organization and planning skills needed in order to manage multiple store visits daily
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimum supervision
Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:
- MS office skills including: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of the telecommunications industry or other technology
- Ability to travel
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle required
