An integral part of our customer service focus, includes contact centres across Canada supporting all of our Bell Mobility and Bell Residential Services customers. Our  Customer Operations team is responsible for strategy, design and delivery of core call centre tools and processes, including queue strategy, routing, and call monitoring tools.

 

Position Description:

Operating within Bell Canada’s Client Insight & Business Intelligence (BI) group, the Business Analyst is responsible for leading and assisting the team of BI Developers to create and maintain BI processes in SAS / TERADATA operational environment.

 

This is a terrific opportunity for the right candidate to help build a dynamic and successful BI team that will help transform the organization in driving out one of the most significant strategic mandates within Bell. 

 

Job Duties/Accountabilities:

  • Planning, analyzing and defining high-level requirements and solutions through business, functional and technical expertise
  • Work with the different business users to understand business problem/need and communicate to technical team for delivery.
  • Create and manage Knowledge base about existing assets.
  • Directing the designing, coding and testing of program modules
  • Directing the creation, execution and documentation of tests to ensure quality
  • Directing efforts to implement all actions required to deploy an application/project.
  • Assisting in planning, estimating, managing and/or delivering a project
  • Participating in utilizing efficient and effective processes and standards in order to continuously improve quality
  • Address business needs and assist development of reports and Dashboards.

 

Critical Qualifications/Competencies:

  • University Degree in Business, Statistics, or Computer Science
  • Excellent SQL skills
  • Minimum 2 years experience in gathering data and providing analysis and recommendations
  • Strong working knowledge of SDLC and Agile development methodologies
  • Knowledge of content management and documentation.
  • Strong business acumen
  • Experience in managing projects

 

Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Strong visionary, planning and execution abilities
  • Strong negotiation skills, ability to negotiate and influence others
  • Project management experience
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Experience using SAS is an asset
  • Experience using Micro-strategy, Tableau or any other reporting tool is an asset.
