Responsibilities:
- Responsible for researching and booking sports celebrities for OTR
- Contribute storyline and production ideas at Editorial meetings
- Work with the Producer and Host to write questions for the script
- Write and edit news and other information for OTR
- Validate and assess the editorial value of each assignment
- Liaison with Agincourt representatives
- Monitor and post to social media accounts
- Develop and maintain a network of contacts
- Be a liaison for guests of the show
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- University/College education in broadcasting or journalism, or equivalent work experience
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Very high and thorough level of sports knowledge
- Extensive contacts in the Sports Community
- Familiarity with all television formats, past and present
- Creativity and demonstrated writing skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Have an extensive knowledge and understanding of all mainstream social media sites
