Bell’s Corporate Security & Resiliency team is accountable to provide security and resiliency direction and expertise for all Bell units in order to uphold Bell’s responsibility to assure the protection of our part of the national critical infrastructure including personnel, critical assets and services and aim at reducing risks, costs, liabilities, and protecting the corporate image. As part of Corporate Security, the team is mandated to establish, implement, administer and enforce Bell Canada’s security policies.  The team manages the Physical Security, Industrial Security, Business Continuity, Contingency Planning and Emergency Management programs.  The National Incident Centre, the single point of contact for reporting high severity incidents also reports to the team.

 

The Corporate Security & Resiliency team is responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Developing and implementing the Business Continuity Management Program, along with templates and tools to support business continuity planning activities across the company;
  • Coordinating and conducting business impact analyses to identify, in conjunction with the business units, all of the company's critical assets such as: functions, suppliers, sites , IT, etc.;
  • Defining the Corporate requirements to comply with legislative requirements, ensure diligence and manage risks appropriately.  

 

Twice a year, Corporate Security shall keep the Security, Environment, Health and Safety Oversight Committee informed of the status and progress of the plans, along with the results of the exercises carried out throughout the organization.

 

Reporting to the Director, Security & Resiliency, the Senior Specialist – Critical Supplier Management role focuses mainly on three key areas:

  • Supplier risk management in all steps of the lifecycle
  • Project management involving multiple business units and stakeholders.  Representing Corporate Security & Responsibility with the business units and stakeholders for: Business Continuity, Information Security, Physical Security, Health and Safety, Environment, etc..
  • Business Continuity and specifically interdependency with suppliers.

 

The candidate will develop, establish, manage, maintain and improve the supplier management program.  He will work jointly with business continuity experts and business units representatives, key subject matter experts, enterprise risk and procurement managers, etc.  He will leverage and incorporate key aspects of risk and continuity assessment, mitigation, monitoring and reporting.

 

Working with colleagues from across Corporate Security, the candidate will ensure all process, frameworks and reporting represents Corporate Security & Responsibility holistically around the matters of supplier magement.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with large-scale projects
  • 5 years of work experience in supplier risk management, risk management or business continuity
  • Ability to develop and promote pioneering concepts and ideas
  • Proven track record of building positive relationships; demonstrated ability to navigate and influence corporate teams to join in initiatives for the broader benefit of the Company
  • Good knowledge of BCE-Bell’s organization, business units, and its internal processes
  • Ability to manage internal requirements of multiple parties within Bell Canada/BCE
  • University degree and/or related experience
  • Bilingual (French/English, spoken and written)
  • PMP certification is a strong asset
