Using innovative operational theory, tools and techniques, the Field team ensures that the right technician with the right skill set arrives at our residential and business customer’s premises on time, every time. We are committed to ensure that Bell's network, products and services are of the highest standard. The Field Services team thrives on providing installation and repair services for business and residential customers using the latest technology, including Fibre, Optical Ethernet, IPVPN.

 

Reporting the Director, the Senior Manager of Project Delivery will work closely with virtual teams to launch projects looking to innovate the field technician and end-customer experience. The Senior Manager of Project Delivery must also anticipate impacts from projects being driven by Field Services to improve field technician productivity and/or quality.  This individual requires solid project management skills and must have excellent knowledge of technology/IT concepts and products. Also an asset is a solid understanding of the Field Services teams, systems and processes.

 

The candidate will also be expected to help manage deliverables by leveraging standard project management concepts and tools.

 

Key accountabilities:

  • Project lead driving projects that impact all of Field Services
  • Presentation of strategic plans to senior executives
  • Provide business requirements in conjunction with operational primes aligning phases of the project with the roadmap and attain stakeholder signoff
  • Establish supporting processes including procurement, provisioning, and support and  repair – process map CMO / FMO and drive changes
  • Participate in (UAT) User Acceptance Testing including: test case development, test strategy, monitoring testing activities and collecting UAT participant feedback to share with IT and testing teams
  • Establish and execute communication, change management and benefit tracing strategies.
  • Relationship building with external departments, working collaboratively in a team environment with colleagues and senior client leadership

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership skills, influencing others with the ability to get things done
  • Strong analytical skills with the experience in developing / managing business requirements
  • Strategic and creative thinker who is exceptionally adept with quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Results-driven who is able to grasp and communicate complex ideas clearly
  • Energetic self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Interest and experience in driving change
  • MS Office skills,  particular excellence in Excel & PowerPoint – tracking and communication of project deliverables
  • University degree or equivalent experience

 

Working Conditions:

  • Travel as required
  • Off normal hours (evening and weekends) at times
