The Bell Residential Services team is in the business of enabling customers to connect with people, information and entertainment by delivering integrated products and service experience for consumers while enhancing our competitiveness in the marketplace.  The team provides customers with Bell Home phone, local and long distance services, Bell Internet, Bell Satellite TV and amazing new technologies such as Bell Fibe TV.

 

The BRS Product Management team is responsible for and contributes to all phases of inventory management. The team is accountable for the forecasting, ordering, managing delivery of inventory and the overall financial management for distribution and logistics of DTH, IPTV, and Internet products & service.

 

The team is looking for a highly motivated and skilled individual with solid analytical abilities.  The successful candidate will join a dynamic team that is accountable for the forecasting, ordering, managing delivery of inventory and the overall financial management for distribution and logistics of DTH, IPTV, and Internet products & service.

 

Maternity leave replacement

 

Job Duties and Accountabilities:

  • Support Forward and Reverse Logistics activity including; system & data file management
  • Monitor inventory levels and make purchase recommendations to ensure appropriate stock levels for forecast activities
  • Complete month end activities, such as prepare monthly financial entries and provide variance analysis to various stakeholders
  • Interface with various internal Bell organizations;  Call Centre, Field Services, Mobility, Finance
  • Maintain strong relationships & meet with vendors & stakeholders
  • Produce monthly / weekly as well as ad-hoc reports
  • Validate, verify and process invoices
  • Coordinate and develop reporting data for internal and external audit requests
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of inventory records
  • Assist with Quarterly and Annual forecasting of capital and expense as it relates to inventory
  • Ensure continuous improvement of tools, methodology, content and format of all analyses
  • Co-ordination with other finance groups at the business units.

 

Critical Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Functional working knowledge of SAP would be an asset
  • Superior working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and MS office, Access
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, extraordinary attention to detail is mandatory
  • Self motivated, deadline-driven and customer-focused in a face paced environment
  • Effective communicator and strong team player
  • Experience in a financial role, or working towards an accounting designation, would be an asset.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness with a drive for improvement
  • Able to travel to various Vendor locations within GTA
  • Extraordinary attention to detail is mandatory

 

Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:

  • University degree / Post Secondary diploma
  • Strategic thinking and creative problem solving
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities with tight deadlines
  • Experience (past or present) in telecommunications an asset
  • Working knowledge of DTH, IPTV & Internet systems (BEATS, BARRT, CSG, Viper, Tapestry, Simple, OrderMAX, Multiview) is an asset

 

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
