Posting summary:
The candidate will be responsible for performing installation work, repairs, replacements, modifications and maintenance of telephony and telecommunication equipment for residential and business customers.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Install, move, remove, repair, replace, modify and maintain according to the standards, procedures and guidelines of residential, business and PBX telephony customers
- Organize assigned daily work activities for the day, set itinerary, contact customer beforehand and occasionally estimate the work to be done for business customers
- Be able to carry out projects and deliver various telephony projects
- Familiarize the customer with telecommunication operations during installation and promote the sale of products / services and company equipment to its customers
- Perform verification of lines using a testing device and complete preventive maintenance
- Perform wiring, connections, terminations and attachments necessary to make the equipment functional for the area of activities assigned
- Communicate with specialized personnel to solve problems and give or receive information
- Handle, transport, resolve, adjust and use proper tools, equipment, materials and vehicles, also ensure their maintenance and the cleanliness of the workplace. Order and maintain inventory for the area assigned
- Complete various forms and write reports related to his work
- Availability to meet customer needs or when emergency calls outside of work hours and may need to travel outside the assigned work area if necessary to meet company needs
- Perform any related work that will be required
Minimal requirements:
- D.E.C (college degree) in electronics with telecom option or equivalent working experience
- Knowledge of programming principles
- Knowledge of the transmission of data at high speed
- Knowledge of computer tools
- Driver’s licence

- Strong analytical and research in technical and IT framework
- Ability to deal and communicate with customers
- Represent the company well to its customers
- Comfortable in height (ladder and pole climbing spurs)
- Good planning and organization skills
- Perform the work safely with accuracy, speed and courtesy
