Position Description:
Our Professional Services delivery team has an immediate need for an IT Security Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Consultant.
The successful candidate will mainly be responsible for delivering Security Solutions engagements in medium to large Enterprise environments. Drawing on both technical and business integration acumen, there is the opportunity to interact with and manage relations between both clients and Bell Canada staff.
This role requires expertise with the definition and implementation IT Security Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) programs within large business environments in various sectors of the industry such as Federal Government, Provincial Government, Banks, Health care, etc.
Job Duties/Accountabilities:
- Defining customer requirements for Security Solutions with a focus on the definition and implementation of IT Security Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) programs.
- Define GRC program strategy for our client environments.
- Leading visioning session and Joint Application Design (JAD) Sessions with Customer Executives.
- Assisting in the development of methods, tools, templates, training to support our GRC client programs.
- Participate actively in GRC collateral standardization.
- Leading the planning and implementation of Security Solutions meeting customer requirements.
- Developing detailed GRC roadmap plans, performing requirements analysis and producing detailed solution implementation documentation.
- Providing hands-on solution integration leadership coaching to team members.
- Contributing to continuous growth of the Security Solutions practice through mentorship, identification of new opportunities and development of security solutions.
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
- 10+ years in IT with a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in providing the definition and implementation IT Security Governance (GRC), Risk and Compliance programs within large business environments in various sectors of the industry such as Federal Government, Provincial Government, Banks, Health care, etc.
- Experience in defining and implementing an IT Security GRC program roadmap.
- Experience in conducting Threat Risk Assessments (TRAs).
- Practical knowledge of industry standards applicable to Security Governance (GRC), Risk and Compliance such as TOGAF, SABSA, ITSG-33, ISO, PCI, NERC, etc.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills in English.
- Able to communicate IT Security GRC program points to others at the technical, user and management levels.
- Strong Project methodology and ability to work closely with project managers.
- Superb customer relations and the ability to interact with customers at all levels.
- Strong Networking skills
- Ability to gain management support and work effectively at all levels across the organization and across department
- Team oriented, with extensive experience in working in complex technical projects
- Autonomous and ability to accept responsibility with minimal supervision
- Secret Clearance issued by the Government of Canada upon start date.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within North America
Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:
- Bachelor or specialized college degree in Computer Science, System Engineering or another related IT program.
- Prior IT security solution integration experience preferred.
- Professional designation such as CISA, CISSP, CISM,CRISC, etc.
- Bilingual: English and French
