Bell Media is seeking a talented and experienced Assistant Producer of Digital to work on a number of exciting digital properties within the Specialty division.
Reporting into the Supervising Producer, the Assistant Producer will oversee all digital video production and coordination while contributing to the digital editorial of Much.com, M3tv, Space.ca and more. Expectations of the role include:
• Overseeing all digital video production series and coverage
• Working closely with the Bell media in-house production team of Producers, Editors, Creative Agency, Media Services and more
• Pitching and creating unique video productions and digital content concepts
• Producing solo or team supported video shoots internally and on location
• Scripting and paper editing video series and campaigns
• Day to day blogging and content creation on Much.com and other digital properties when required
• Supporting the daily updates of Much.com and other digital properties when required
• Pitching and creating new and exciting content series, articles, videos and social campaigns
• Other duties as assigned by Supervising Producer
Qualifications:
• A minimum of five years working experience in digital video or television production
• College Diploma or University Graduate required
• Strong understanding of technical specifications and formats for online video assets.
• Experience with digital editing tools and programs, and strong content management skills.
• Knowledge of publishing to other digital media platforms including mobile, podcasting, YouTube, etc.
• Portfolio of work that displays a talent for 'packaging' online content via text, video, photos, etc.
• Proven ability to generate innovated ideas that lead vs. follow
• Ability to write copy, which express your original personality will be highly valued
• Ability to thrive and work in an environment that is fast-paced, demands trend-setting creativity and ability to execute against challenging timelines.
• Experience leading and executing multiple projects at once
• Experience leading and inspiring teams
• Working knowledge of Photoshop, Wordpress, HTML, and Final Cut an asset
• Digital photography and Video experience preferred
• Huge passion for music and pop culture
• Excellent relationship building skills.
