The Role:
As a Senior Manager, Programming Strategy you will be Support the development of programming strategy for all TSN platforms to meet overall TSN business objectives. This is a great opportunity for an experienced passionate professional to be part of one of the strongest Media teams across the country. Backed by one of Canada’s most iconic brand and elite line content services you will be equipped to direct some of the most viewed content across Canada. The team is seeking individuals who are innovative (by nature), results oriented, people thrive in a dynamic fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development of Programming strategy for all TSN platforms to meet overall TSN business objectives.
- Support content acquisitions strategy and negotiations.
- Provide strategic support to TSN Sales and Brand Partnerships.
- Work closely with Revenue management to determine property value, bundle assets to drive incremental value and identify new monetization opportunities.
- Utilize research and market intelligence to guide decision making.
- Support TSN Marketing to identity promotional priorities.
- Develop and lead the execution of various interdepartmental cross-platform projects.
- Manage budgets, expenses, and lead operational/administrative excellence aligned with this portfolio.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business strategy development.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-platform teams and projects on deadline and budget.
- Experience negotiating and completing contractual relationships.
- Experience managing direct reports.
- Traditional marketing background an asset.
- Experience in the digital space an asset.
- Strong knowledge and a passion for sports mandatory.
- Strong organizational and priority management skills.
- Ability to think both strategically and tactically.
