Position: 99.9 Virgin Radio Morning Show Personality
Location: 260 Richmond Street West, Toronto

Morning show opportunities in the big city don’t come along very often! Virgin Radio Toronto’s new morning show “Tucker in the Morning” launched earlier this year, and we’re looking for the next key players to join our team and help take us to the next level.
The search is on for a creative and dazzling character that is larger than life on the air. Someone that lives and breathes our 18-34 demo and understands what entertains them. A team player that doesn’t have the word “No” in their vocabulary. We’re looking for a 3rd on-air personality to join to team and provide different perspectives to the content the team generates. This roll isn’t your typical morning show gig. We’re looking for someone that would have fun gathering late night clips on King Street West for our Breathalyzer game. Someone that has an enthusiastic attitude when we suggest riding the rollercoasters at Canada’s Wonderland over and over and over again to give a listener concert tickets. Someone that would have a blast trying to get a selfie with that famous A-lister during TIFF!
Responsibilities:
- Enthusiastically participate on Tucker in the Morning weekdays 5:30am-9:00am
- Contribute and write daily content ideas with the show hosts and Program Director
- Attend daily morning show meetings with team and Program Director
- Be prepared for out-of-studio shifts as planned. This on air position will be our voice on the streets of Toronto. We have many on-air segments during the morning show that need live play by play and pre-records, and we’re looking for a great story-teller to bring these out-of-studio activations to life.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years radio experience, preferably working as a Radio Show Producer / On Air Host / Programmer
- Strong writing skills. We’re looking for someone with a strong sense of comedic writing that can help approach everyday content is a creative way
- Positive team player that can work collaboratively with the morning show hosts
- A demonstrated ability to work under multiple deadlines
- Social media expertise
- Experience with Wide Orbit, Voxpro, Adobe Audition an asset
- Radio/TV station on-air experience in 18-34 demo mandatory. This posting is not entry-level.
- Valid Driver’s License
