Using innovative operational theory, tools and techniques, the Field team ensures that the right technician with the right skill set arrives at our residential and business customer’s premises on time, every time. We are committed to ensure that Bell's network, products and services are of the highest standard. The Field Services team thrives on providing installation and repair services for business and residential customers using the latest technology, including Fibre, Optical Ethernet, IPVPN.
The Operations Solutions team provides support, project coordination, process mapping and training to Field Operations technicians. The mandate of this role is to enhance customer satisfaction and work quality through support activities for the voice, internet, TV, cable, CO, ORS, DATA/IPVPN markets. This role will be focused on the central office environment.
Job Duties / Accountabilities:
- Will be responsible to project manage multiple work streams to improve the processes within the central office environment.
- Participate in project delivery & process improvements with the L1 and L2 teams in field and shared services
- Will participate in blueprinting activities for the central office environment
- Work with operations partners to design, develop, maintain and implement strategies to improve training, material management, workflow and metrics within the central office environment
- Participate in establishing scorecards for the central office
- Respond to requests for support from Field Operations technicians and managers;
- Prepare monthly updates for the executive team

Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:
The ideal candidate will have a combination of the following:
- Understanding of the Field outside plant technologies;
- Knowledge of the construction and maintenance standards and practices for copper & fibre networks;
- Ability and manual dexterity to validate various technical work procedures;
- Excellent knowledge of provisioning and service assurance processes;
- Excellent knowledge of Field Operations and/or Control Centre processes;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English;
- University degree
- Project management certification
