The Field Services team thrives on providing installation and repair services for business and residential customers using the latest technology, including Fibre, Optical Ethernet, IPVPN.
Job Description:
- Installs and repairs telephone lines in the Moosonee/Moose Factory area
- Maintains and repairs equipment attached to Poles and various structures
- Keeps accurate cable and facility records
- Installs communications equipment, DSL, customer demarcations, Cat 5 runs, fibre optic and various other equipment
- Network equipment maintenance duties as assigned
- Adheres to all Safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Some computer skills
- Aptitude for learning telephone technology
- Ability to climb telephone poles and various structures
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong personal communication skills
- Must not be color blind
- Must possess a valid class “G” driver’s license
- Mechanically inclined would be an asset
- Technical College Diploma would be an asset
