Position Overview:

As part of the Calling Services and Applications team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the management and development of key services from Bell, including voicemail, visual voicemail, voicemail to text, GPS Navigation, carrier billing and more. As part of their daily activities, the successful candidate will be involved in monitoring service performance, developing the product roadmap, managing revenue/expenses and execution on tactics to drive growth and sustainability in the portfolio.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and enhance the product strategy taking into account multiple devices / OS (iPhone, Android, Blackberry etc) as well as LTE, HSPA and CDMA technologies.
* Establish and ensure the portfolio achieves revenue, profitability, subscriber, penetration and usage targets.
* Manage the day-to-day operation of the services including new content introduction, enhancement of existing features, reducing support drivers and managing infrastructure evolution.
* Manage and analyze competitive and customer impacts to services and business within the portfolio; perform business case development and modeling.
* Develop new product concepts to grow new lines of business
* Take leadership and lead cross-functional teams from various technical, business and marketing disciplines to implement and manage key projects, new service launches and marketing initiatives
* Work with marketing teams to promote services, including launch new products, create marketing materials, develop in store strategy, sales support, etc.

Qualifications:

* 2 to 5 years experience in product management or development in a telecom or high technology company, with a combination of software or hardware development, marketing or business development experience.
* Technical Aptitude: Good understanding of mobile telecommunications technology, infrastructure and networks. Must be able to understand and manage technical impacts (opportunities and limitations) to services and business and able to work with technical teams to implement and manage services (including vendor and technology selection, etc.)
* Marketing Aptitude: Demonstrated ability to analyze and manipulate numeric data to find and communicate trends, patterns and business opportunities. Able to work with marketing teams to promote services, including launch new products, create marketing materials, develop in store strategy, sales support, etc.
* Adaptable and able to remain focused on priorities under frequently changing market, business and technology conditions while handling multiple tasks concurrently. Must be able to work under pressure and produce deliverables within tight deadlines and on budget.
* Committed to excellence in client service and relationship building with demonstrated leadership and team building skills.
* Strong communicator, both verbal and written, with proven presentation skills across all levels of the organization.
* Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills, Access, MS Project highly desirable.
* University degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
