Responsibilities:
- Work directly with clients and/or advertising agencies
- Develop new, direct business and increase revenue from existing clients
- Receive client briefings, create and present sales proposals to meet their needs
- Market and sell Out-of-Home products with a focus on Toronto and the street furniture product (Transit Shelter advertising)
- Develop long-term business plans to grow account list and/or increase current client expenditures
- Present and sell product information and research to larger groups i.e. in a boardroom situation as well as on a one-on-one basis
- Provide complete and accurate weekly sales projections to management
- Entertain clients, occasionally outside of regular business hours
- Travel on a limited basis

Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years related work experience
- College/University education, sales or marketing background preferred
- Previous media selling experience, specifically in direct, retail sales
- Proven ability to grow existing business and develop new business
- Strong negotiation skills with proven ability to close
- Very good knowledge of Toronto market and Canadian media environment
- Ability to provide creative ideas and marketing solutions to clients
- Ability to analyze and present supporting research
- Strong interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Problem solving ability
- A strong team player
- Computer literate: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Ability to speak/read French is an asset but not essential
