As a SharePoint Architect, you will provide leadership on best practices for architectural design and have a thorough understanding of the Microsoft SharePoint solution suite and enterprise application integration involving Business Process and Forms, Business Intelligence, Enterprise Content Management and Portals. You will lead architecture and design reviews for SharePoint projects that focus on planning, deploying, and targeting new or significant modifications of existing enterprise SharePoint implementations that exceed client expectations.
Prime Responsibilities:
* Delivering business value by designing and implementing effective SharePoint technology solutions
* Shaping the strategy, architecture, methodology and standards for delivering SharePoint solutions
* Providing technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing effective procedures and systems requirements that meet business requirements
* Translating and communicating conceptual business and user requirements into system and configuration requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to solution designers and developers and/or the project team
* Ensuring quality through enforcement of best practices and project governance
* Building prototypes and proofs of concept to validate technical decisions
* Working with a team on all phases of the life cycle, from project inception to close
* Contributing to the growth of the development team
* Understanding and implementing QA procedures (code reviews, estimating, peer reviews, impact analyses, root cause analyses, etc.)
* Planning and managing workload
* Providing reliable estimates of effort
Experience/Education Required:
* University/college degree or equivalent
* Minimum of seven years of experience with SharePoint/SQL architectural analysis, design methodologies and BI Platform in a consulting or client-facing role
* Minimum of five years of experience designing, building, deploying, upgrading and testing custom SharePoint 2010/2013 solutions and portals
* Advanced technical and development knowledge of and experience with the SharePoint 2010/2013
* Experience with developing SharePoint prototypes for capability assessments and demonstrations
* Experience with guiding development team members on best practices
* Thorough knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies
* Deep experience as a .NET developer
* Thorough knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, XML, XSLT
* Experience with Windows Server, Windows Authentication and IIS
* Desired: Microsoft certifications (SharePoint)
