Salary: Unifor 723 - Group B, Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week. Overtime as required
Responsibilities:
Entertainment Specialty Channels is seeking a highly organized, knowledgeable TV aficionado to join its Programming team. The role of the Programming Assistant TVE encompasses many duties including working across multiple Specialty channels with an emphasis on scheduling.
- Create and distribute weekly TVE Schedules
- Perform schedule changes as needed based on Linear scheduling
- Monitor and update programming TVE Catch-up rights
- Meta Data sourcing
- Delivery of Specialty programming content to third party broadcasters as required
- Act as a liaison between Programming team, Digital and Operations departments
- Other related duties as required

Qualifications:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma, in television preferred
- Must be highly organized, detail oriented and be a clear communicator
- Understanding of Digital Rights is an asset
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office programs, i.e. Excel
- Ability to work well under pressure, possess excellent time management skills, be a self-starter, multi-task and meet assigned deadlines
- Familiarity with IBMS and/or other scheduling and broadcasting software is an asset
