Bell is currently seeking a candidate for the position of a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist – Information Security Governance. Reporting to the Associate Director, Information Security. The incumbent is responsible for the Information Security policy framework across Bell to develop and implement various security policies and directives. He/ She will act as a spokesperson and expert on the subject.
* Acts as spokesperson and champions policies and directives program and negotiates policy requirements across various Bell’s internal stakeholders and gains alignment with the relevant executives
* Possesses proven track record in developing information security policies and directives and successfully executing programs
* Develops and implements related to policies and directives spanning multiple domains that may include cloud computing, encryption, Malware protection, mobile computing and others.
* Possesses deep knowledge of industry best practices of ISO, ISF, NIST and others
* Conducts routine review and maintenance of existing policies and directives owned by Information Security
* Experienced in leading various risk assessments across multiple cybersecurity domains
* Develops various processes across various programs to ensure it addresses business requirements
* Leads various committees to review and analyze complex solutions and plans to identify risks, exposures, define and implement compensating controls
* Collects, consolidates and analyzes information required for the evaluation and administration of Bell branded assets
* Degree in technology related field, or equivalent work experience
* High degree of initiative, negotiation skills and ability to work with little supervision
Required qualifications:
* Seven (7) years’ experience in information security policy development and management
* In-depth knowledge and experience with and standards such as, ISO 27002,17799, ITIL, COBIT, NIST, PCI, ISF and others
* Bachelor’s degree in technology-related field, or in computer science with a specialization in telecommunications, or the equivalent.
* The following certifications are an asset: ITIL, CISSP, CISM and CISA
* Knowledge of process engineering and project management
* Sound document writing skills
* Good knowledge of common office tools.
* Bilingualism written and spoken
