As the Senior Manager - Sales you will be responsible for driving change within our most vibrant business unit. In addition to driving revenue, you will have the opportunity to strategize around, create and ultimately build a sales team unlike any that Bell Business Markets has seen to date. This vision will only be realized through your ability to mould new talent, some with no selling experience, and essentially create a proving ground for sales representatives to learn and develop into the future sales success stories of the business. You will be looked to as a thought leader who has the ability, and the creativity, to design the system by which these new and tenured sales professionals will grow and become top performers.
In addition, your keen attention to detail, and ability to navigate a complex internal environment will also be put to the test as you will be responsible for a group of sales enablement resources. Your experience building relationships and engaging key stakeholders in the sales cycle will help give your sales team more time back into their day to do what they will do best, which is sell.

Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the attainment of fiscal revenue and profit objectives
* Prospects and qualifies both new and recurring business opportunities
* Accountable to deliver accurate monthly/quarterly/yearly forecasts through disciplined funnel management
* Ownership of Run Rate and new revenue growth objectives
* Manage and grow the Maintenance Services run rate revenues
* Must be able to identify, qualify and close sales
* Develops strategies and tactics which leverage competitive advantage and profitability
* Accountable for effective sales coverage/alignment of key offerings
* Guide and coach the existing team in preparation of proposals and proactive sales activities
* Develop a sales team of new grad hires which includes training across all lines of business and the development/management of a mentorship program
* Lead the creation of customer offer process (internal business case) and manages approval steps
* Develop relationships with customers and alliance/external partners
Team and Human Capital Development:
* Develops and executes plans to increase employee satisfaction, meeting Employee Value Index (EVI) targets
* Retain, recruit and develops a dynamic, highly motivated, customer-focused sales team
* Committed to growing a performance culture by leading your team towards excellence with well defined Plans and succession plans for direct reports
* Foster an environment for organizational change to encourage calculated risk and sales diligence (i.e. account forecast/planning, process and profit orientation)
* Effectively manage a team ranging from 10 to 15 resources
Essential Qualifications:
* Experience in leading a team of sales professionals who sell technically complex solutions
* Experience in selling solutions across all lines of business (Connectivity, Managed Services, Professional Services and Infrastructure Services)
* Experience in sales strategies, selling techniques & solution development
* Industry and competitor Knowledge
* Strong Negotiation Skills (Closer)
* Relationship Building
* Leadership (coaching, motivating others)
* Financial/ Business acumen
* Knowledge of the Ontario enterprise market would be a key asset
