Corporate Services - Corporate Security
A challenging and interesting opportunity for a motivated and action oriented individual in the Bell Corporate Security - Retail Loss Prevention department.
Under the supervision of the National Loss Prevention Manager, the chosen candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the execution of the retail Loss Prevention program within the Bell Retail Head Office environment. As well, the candidate will be required to participate in the implementation of new processes, along with maintaining good working relationships with our various business units and partners.
Key responsibilities :
Through effective leadership, coordination, communication, and training, the incumbent must ensure that the work is conducted with the utmost integrity and professionalism in the best interest of the Company, and that sufficient preventative security measures are in place and effective. His main responsibilities are:
* Manage the physical store security program, including solutions and vendor selection, establishing field standards, compliance, and coordination with the Store Development and Visual Merchandising teams.
* Develop national loss prevention training and awareness materials geared towards priority training needs; coordination with the Training team on implementation.
* Manage national loss prevention communications to the field.
* Develop strategies and programs to maintain or reduce shrink on a national level.
* Manage and/or coordinate LP projects as required.
* Develop and maintain internal partnerships with employees at all levels of the business units, and external partnerships within the LP community (i.e. other retailers, Police agencies, vendors, etc.).
* Ensure compliance to all loss prevention and security-related policies and procedures by building a positive LP culture.
* Manage annual / quarterly expenses to plan, including capital projects budgets.
* Conduct and support internal and external investigations, as required.
Essential skills / competencies:
* Bilingual English and French (written and oral) is an asset.
* Experience in loss prevention / asset protection or law enforcement, with a strong background in investigations, fraud detection, and program implementation.
* Excellent oral, written, and group communication skills.
* Training administration and/or project management experience.
* Investigation and security interview experience is an asset.
* Strong analytical / problem-solving skills with attention to detail, creative and good business judgement.
* Excellent negotiating, decision making, prioritization, communication, organizational, and administrative skills.
* Strong team player; demonstrates initiative; has a strong desire to succeed.
* Highly motivated, proactive, and flexible with the ability to adapt to a complex and quickly-changing environment.
* Advanced computer skills: proficient in MS Office, and ability to quickly learn proprietary systems.
* College degree or a University education.
* Ability to cope with various levels of stress.
Working Conditions:
* Must pass a security clearance check including criminal record check.
* This position may require evening and weekend work. Personal social plans and/or vacations may be occasionally cancelled to meet immediate demands of the job.
* Occasional overnight travel could be required.
* Office position with a dedicated workspace.
