Salary: Local 723M - Group C - Commensurate with qualifications and experience
Hours of Work: 40 Hours Per Week, Overtime as required - 1 year contract position
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with all production
- Logging and maintaining the RAW library
- Coordinating with Media Services for all production needs
- Tracking use of Getty Images
- Music Cue Sheet Reporting
- Overseeing daily InnerSpace outputs to XD Cam (Masters)
- Assisting with the daily News
- Compiling visuals for in-studio monitors and coordinating with Graphics Operator
- Providing daily crew lists and courtesies for show credits
- Maintaining relationships with internal and external outlets
- Making dubs/posting stories to Media Review
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in television production required
- Completion of Post-Secondary Television/Broadcasting course
- Demonstrated involvement in dealing with problem solving and creative solutions
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and the capability to multitask in a fast paced, hectic environment
- Ability to work well independently and in a team and be self-motivated
- Computer processing skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and other related computer programs
- Scheduling, multitasking personality working under minimal or no supervision
- Exceptional communication skills - dealing with contacts, clients, talent and production personnel
- Knowledge and enthusiastic interest in Genre/Sci-Fi/Fantasy, video games, and technology is an asset
