Bell Business Markets provides a vast array of communications solutions for small, medium, and large organizations. These include managed data and network solutions, cloud computing, conferencing, Web, security solutions and integrated information and communications technology (ICT) services.
Job Duties / Accountabilities:
The successful candidate will act as an Account Architect in the presales engineering team (QC Commercial) and will be responsible for pre-sales support for Commercial and Public sectors in Québec, in regards to the BBM portfolio.
The position will interact with and manage relations between both clients and Bell Canada staff.
The candidate responsibilities will include:
- Acting as Trusted Advisor to support BBM solutions, for enterprise customers in the Québec Commercial and Public sectors.
- Deliver presentations and white boarding sessions with customers, to identify requirements and propose solutions based on Bell portfolio, for different verticals (education, health, government., manufacturing, transport, etc.)
- Work with major accounts to provide technology expertise and guidance to support them in the definition of their target architectures, as well as solutions for specific projects/RFPs.
- Contributing to continuous growth of the CS, MS and PS lines of business, through identification of new opportunities and customer engagement throughout the pre-sales cycle.
- Keep a high level of expertise in BBM’s solution portfolio by means of continuous training and vendors certifications achievements/renewals.
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
- 10+ years in IT with a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in providing detailed technical architecture expertise on UC and VoIP solutions for large corporate environments with a focus on pre-sales activities.
- Strong business acumen and ability to work with the extended sales team, to position UC solutions for enterprise customers
- Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills in both French and English.
- Able to communicate technical concepts at user and management levels.
- Ability to manage complex deliveries or projects from a presales perspective.
- Excellent customer relations and ability to interact at all levels of their organisations.
- Ability to gain management support and work effectively at all levels of the organization and across departments.
- Team oriented, with extensive experience in complex technical projects
- Autonomous and ability to accept responsibility with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within North America
- Bilingual: English and French
Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:
- Bachelor or specialized college degree in Computer Science, System Engineering, another related IT program, or equivalent education in IT fields
- Technical certifications with major vendors such as Cisco, Avaya, Mitel, etc.
- Experience in Connectivity (WAN, LAN) as well as Security architectures and services (deep knowledge of BBM’s portfolio and processes, an asset)
- Experience with major VoIP and UC vendor solutions, including Avaya, Cisco, Mitel, and Microsoft, an asset
