An integral part of our customer service focus, includes contact centres across Canada supporting all of our Bell Mobility and Bell Residential Services customers. Our Customer Operations team is responsible for strategy, design and delivery of core call centre tools and processes, including queue strategy, routing, and call monitoring tools.

As a Business Intelligence consultant, you will be focused on delivering the best customer experience on time, every time. Bell’s Business Intelligence team is responsible for the management and optimization of BI systems used to develop business strategy, automate business insight processes and provide insight to drive optimal business decisions. How the program works:
- Over the summer, you will experience a variety of interesting challenges every day. About 25% of your time will be spent learning about Bell’s services and customers, and 75% will be focused on BI specific project work.

Checklist
- Successful 3rd year student working towards a Bachelor’s degree, in a discipline such as: Business analytics / business intelligence, applied math, computer science, applied science/engineering, economics/econometrics, management science or operations research
- Highly analytical with an understanding of the basic principles of working with large and complex data sets
- Knowledge of, and preferably experience with, query languages such as MATLAB, SAS, or SQL, and/or software development, and/or developing visualization tools
- Ability to leverage insights and opportunities from data and metrics to build strategies and make recommendations
- Demonstrated initiative, leadership and a passion for learning new skills
- Strong work ethic, driven and persistent when facing challenges and opportunities
- Demonstrated curiosity and ability to learn quickly, with an ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
