Presentation Coordinator, TSN (Unifor 79M)
Salary:News Division Group 3 $971.49 - $1,455.60 (Commensurate with qualifications and experience)
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week. Overtime as required, must be flexible. Shiftwork and Overtime as required.
Responsibilities:
•Integration of commercial format during LIVE event and server delayed programming on TSN networks.
•Co-ordinate communication between LIVE-event mobile and control room and Master Controls.
•Ensure ticker and squeezeback information is accurate and complete
•Ensure satisfactory audio and video technical signal is received and maintained from remote locations during live events
•Production of elements as required to enhance the presentation and flow of the programs
•Liaise with Programming, Production, Traffic and Scheduling departments and Master Control to ensure the smooth integration of Live and Tape Delayed programming elements
•Execute replacement programming directions, adjusting networks “on the fly” .
•Ensure Network maintains CRTC commercial regulations
•Screen Network promos to ensure accuracy as required
•Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
•Post-secondary education in a broadcast related course or equivalent work experience in communications
•Experience in a LIVE-event master control environment
•Strong communication skills with attention to accuracy and timing essential
•The ability to make quick decisions.
•Work well in stressful environment
•Experience in production i.e. editing and packaging
