The Role:
This is a challenging opportunity for a customer-focused product manager with a proven track record of successfully delivering new product introductions in the telecommunications industry. You will partner with other like minded high energy professionals that are passionate about contributing to Bell’s goal to be recognized by customers as Canada’s leading Communications Company.

Reporting to Senior Manager, M2M Product Management within Bell Mobility’s Business Products and Solutions team, you will be responsible for the management and launch of new M2M and IoT services and enablement platforms.

Performing this role involves experience in spearheading product management and development activities including developing product requirements, concept design and testing of new services; preparing business case justification for new product investments; managing stakeholders; and identifying launch strategies with the customer experience being paramount for all activities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to and manage the M2M product strategy and roadmap for select verticals
  • Communicate product strategy to key stakeholders and executives
  • Manage development and product releases with all functional groups (i.e. engineering, marketing, billing, customer care, legal/regulatory, and sales.
  • Work closely with integrators, vendors and internal teams to deploy and support our products.
  • Provide leadership to cross-functional product teams to deliver customer-focused services with the desired deployment schedules.
  • Create product requirements documents and business cases for new products and enablement platforms
  • Manage resolution of project and development issues

 

Experience / Core competencies:

  • University degree in related field
  • Min 3 – 5 years of practical experience in product management and development. Experience in high tech industries preferred.
  • Able to communicate and interact professionally with executives, suppliers, and clients
  • Demonstrated strategy development, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Technically inclined with an interest and ability to understand new mobile technology
  • Ability to operate in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Motivated and a self-starter, comfortable working with minimal supervision
