Bell Business Markets provides a vast array of communications solutions for small, medium, and large organizations. These include managed data and network solutions, cloud computing, conferencing, Web, security solutions and integrated information and communications technology (ICT) services.
Description:
Bell Business Markets is looking to implement a team of associates to support the deployment of a critical technical roll out to the new environment, tools and PC of over 500 users. Your role will be critical to ensure a smooth transition.
Responsibilities:
- Support non-tech savvy users during this technology migration
- Proactively support users to prepare their profile and computer for the migration
- Support process questions and help identify system issues that need to be referred to the technical support team after completing the necessary tests
- Coach users after the migration so they can perform they daily tasks and use the new tools that were introduced to them
- Identify to the level 2 support all issues that could impact the project and/or the operations
- Meet with technical teams to clearly explain the issues encountered
- Convert documented processes to users experience and map it
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
- Computer savvy; easily navigates in a PC environment
- Advanced MS Office 2007 skills, particularly MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Facility to interact with new people as you will have to interact with a new group every 2 weeks
- Professional work ethic, inter-personal skills and strong organizational skills are essential
- Collaboration and negotiation skills
- Analytical and technical skills
- Flexibility; ability to comfortably operate in a rapidly evolving environment
- Team player with a positive 'can do' attitude. Winning Mindset attributes including consistent demonstration of the ability to mobilize others
- Ability to work independently
- English is essential for the Mississauga location
- French & English is required for Verdun & Ottawa location
