The Bell Residential Services team is in the business of enabling customers to connect with people, information and entertainment by delivering integrated products and service experience for consumers while enhancing our competitiveness in the marketplace. The team provides customers with Bell Home phone, local and long distance services, Bell Internet, Bell Satellite TV and amazing new technologies such as Bell Fibe TV.
Bell Mobility, Direct Sales team is responsible for the Sales of new accounts or lines to Consumer and Small Business clients in a call center environment, nationally. This position is ideal for an individual looking to work in a very dynamic, challenging and fast paced environment.
Job Duties/Accountabilities:
- Assure the coordination of requests and assign priority in order to treat all requests based on their respective priority and impact on the business
- Responsible for the extracting, processing, interpreting data in order to create and produce a large inventory of complex key reports, standard and ad hoc reports for executive and management team
- Negotiate delivery timelines with the clients (all level of management)
- Manage and communicate information on Competition and current offers in Market
- Coordinate and manage use of some internal tools
- Troubleshoot systems and applications, source systems and actively communicate with application owners to correct discrepancies while providing explanations to end-users
- Ensure that all systems, applications and reports are providing accurate information
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Strong programming skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English and French
- Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with all levels within the company and internal / external partners
- Ability to take decisions and high level of autonomy
- Ability to train and support users to understand applications, output, methodology etc
- Ability to work closely with internal / external partners and customers to understand and analyze business issues and recommend reporting solutions
- Technical Skills:
- Strong computer programming and database management experience
- Advanced knowledge of all MS-Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, and Project)
- Knowledge of SQL, Visual Basic
Preferred Qualifications / Competencies:
- Experience in a reporting environment in one of the line of business at Bell
- Knowledge of internal Database programs such as EDW, Webfocus and CSAC
