Name and description of the hiring department:
Finance Operations is a dynamic group that is responsible for document preparation associated with the Budget Plan & Results for the VP Field Services Operations Group.
Reporting to the Senior Manager Finance, we are looking for a dynamic resource to fill the position of Budget & Financial Results. The main responsibilities include consolidation and analysis of financial results, ensuring resolution of discrepancies as well maintaining the integrity of capital and expenses under GL Finance accounts.
Job Duties / Accountabilities:
- Build, validate and analyze the Financial results (Expense, Capital, Headcount).
- Analyze the deviations, verify data of all reports using various systems.
- Interact with various levels of management.
- Support Operations Clients by preparing various Ad-hoc reports as well as providing accurate coding for expense and capital accounts.
Essential Qualifications / Competencies:
- MS Excel (Intermediate) (Formulas, Dynamic Tables, creation of reports).
- Team Work.
- Experience working with numbers, performing analysis, solving problems.
- Able to work with short deadlines, multiple demands, changes of priority.
- Capable of working with ambiguity.
Preferred Qualifications / Competencies:
- MS Powerpoint basic level.
- Knowledge of SAP.
- BMS/BPC.
- Financial Concepts.
- Good time management.
Working Conditions:
- Vacation restrictions during month end YEE and Plan 'production'.
- Overtime may be requested during month end 'production'.
- Short Deadlines.
- Frequent changes in priorities.
- Must deal with employees at different levels.
