Job Overview:
The Manager–Product Analytics will be a key member of the Wireless Product Reporting and Planning Team, and will be reporting into the Senior Manager - Product Reporting and Planning. This role will provide value added reporting on the Wireless device portfolio providing the executive team with information that will drive business decisions such as device pricing and channel profitability. The candidate will also work closely with various stakeholders to understand and evaluate key business trends and drivers to formulate recommendations.
The successful candidate will need to possess strong analytical and technical skills and a clear ability to identify key business trends and issues. The candidate will also have strong communication skills to build relationships at various levels of the organization and the confidence to participate in Senior-level discussions. In addition, the candidate will be a self-starter that is able to work independently to complete specified tasks under tight deadlines within a fast-paced working environment.
Job Duties/Accountabilities:
- Strong analytical skills
- Attention to detail and ability to analyze numbers for accuracy and reasonableness
- Ability to work well independently and within a team environment
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation skills)
- Advanced computer skills are essential with an emphasis on Excel, Access & Visio
- Well organized & able to multi-task
- Knowledge of SAP BW/BI, BPC, Essbase Hyperion, SAS strongly preferred
- SQL Skills
- Team-player
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
- A business background and/or working towards a professional designation (i.e., CPA)
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation skills)
- Strong technical and analytical skills including rate/volume variances
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize issues
- Results-oriented
- Ability to partner with cross-functional operational and finance teams
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:
- Preferred to have wireless industry experience
- Experience with SAP & Essbase
- Strong Excel skills
