The Small Business Organization is also the farm team for other corporate sales inside and outside sales career opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Team Manager – Small Business Sales, the successful candidates will be responsible for acquiring new business by proactively calling prospects. The main focus will be to win back customers from competitors, sign up new customers, upgrade customers from voice to data, and sell existing customers additional services, and obtaining referrals. The candidate must have a strong grasp on solution selling principles and be able to effectively understand the client’s business needs and their decision making process. The ability to uncover and qualify opportunities, create and propose solutions and close sales as well as strong change management skills, technology and competitive expertise are a must. In addition the ability to work in a strong team environment yet be independently motivated to meet and exceed personal and team goals is required.
Job Duties/Accountabilities:
- Primarily responsible for meeting established objectives within a sales centre environment by calling customers on an outbound basis, and supporting company initiated inbound campaigns (Ontario region only)
- Achievement of pre-determined sales objectives
- Drive new activations for both prospective customers and existing customers
- “Winback” of old customers and customers currently with the competition
- Promote solution offers that meet the customers’ specific needs
- Establish rapport and cultivate relationships with customers through the sales cycle that will lead to repeat business and referrals
Critical qualifications/ competencies:
- 2+ years in a sales role with specific sales objectives met or exceeded
- Knowledge and understanding of solution selling concepts
- Exceptional telephone etiquette including listening, understanding and responding skills
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed
- Ability to adapt and excel in fast paced, changing market conditions
Preferred skills:
- General knowledge and understanding of Bell Mobility products and services; specific, in-depth knowledge
- Knowledge of Bell Mobility systems and processes
- Strong grasp of MS Office and general PC proficiency
Work conditions:
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm or 9:30am to 5:30pm
